Tara O'Donnel

Tara O'Donnell

There is not much to say about her. Tara O' Donnell was born in Ireland when it was ruled by the English. Daughter of of an Irish farmer her life wasn't easy, the youngest of three daughters.Away from the troubles of her father, her childish was summon into some mystery. Always alone but happy, but all the time watched.Fascinated by the Celtics meanings she studied them by herself, even the old language of them and all the symbols and fables.

Seeing her always alone, her father with all his possessions sent her to London to a girls school. The times were changing. She grow up, away from her family unless the news from the letters. She became a slender young woman and knew what she wanted to do with her life. Not forgetting it was a men's world, she had a hard time to integrate, starting working in a news paper, first cleaning the offices of it, then as a secretary of a well known reporter of the Tribune, and slowly she started to write her own texts. Her gift and her studies of art, made her a great art critic. Her hard work finally was compensatory, but not all, still had to sign it as a man, lucky for her for the family name O'Donnell, it was a great help for it.

It was at the Theater of the Royal Ballet Company, where she met Simon. There was something with him. Tara just couldn't explain, and made her go back to her researches about the Celtics, but she didn't find anything that could explain that strange feeling about Simon. She waked up every morning in her bed weak, not remembering what had happened the late night. And all nights were like that.

Every time she tried to find out who was he, she'd find a dead end. Not a street name, or the house he took her, no nothing about him. As if a dream. But, there he was always waiting for her at the door of the newspaper. Till one night she refused to go with him. She wasn't afraid. She was curious. The Opium the modern drug of those days in London was to easy to find. She was sure she had been drugged with it, and if it so, she wanted to find out.

She refused, heading to her place. Or at least faking it. She just wanted to follow Simon. It went wrong. Simon was the one who followed. She tried all the time to loose him, but there he was at the next corner. Always a step forward than she was.It was the night Tara was Embraced. Her Sire teaches their ways, what they are, how they do things, and then the night of presentation to the Prince. She did well. Something that Simon showed pride in it.Treating her as a princess, he did everything for her, thought, she didn't disappointed Simon. Staying together for a long time, traveling together. She'd found a new world to explore and study. She knew the webs of power from the Kindred and how do they act. Then she stayed alone. It was time to leave her Sire and explore this world by herself. She became a famous art critic, worked in many newspapers, traveling the world through the night.
